Along with the information provided in this manual, the P&C Association should keep a copy of their current approved constitution and any bylaws, meeting procedures or rules and policies the P&C may have adopted for their own school situation. This then makes one handy reference guide for the P&C Executive and can be passed on from one executive to the next.

Finally, this manual is designed to be a living document. Information provided will change and updates of this manual will be provided on a regular basis on the QCPCA web site (www.qcpca.org.au). A great deal of information, relevant to P&C operations is available on the website and you should refer to it frequently.
How to use the Manual
This manual is broken up into sections relating to the various operations P&C Associations may have responsibility for.
Each section contains relevant information about that area of P&C business.
Each section has a number of sample forms provided to assist and guide P&Cs.
There may be words and phrases used that are unfamiliar to your P&C members. The glossary provides an explanation of many such terms. You can add to the glossary with those terms specific to your P&C.
