QCPCA is committed to working with and encouraging partnerships between Principals and P&C Associations to ensure productive partnerships for the benefit of the students of the school. P&C Associations play an important role within the school community and are in constant need of volunteers to support them in providing the 'extras' for the students of the school.
The Principal/P&C partnership builds supportive relationships across the school community and through teamwork and communication many goals and objectives are achieved.
In early February we posted out to all our P&C affiliates a document pack containing paperwork:
- to inform P&C Associations of their obligations and provide information to complete and utilise in their role
- to utilise in promoting itself to encourage volunteers and support from the school community.
It is very important that all P&C Associations pay their Insurance Renewal by 31 March, in order to ensure all P&C operations, activities and volunteers are covered. Renewal notices were also sent to your P&C.
A reminder that the Student Protection Risk Management Strategy, which is a legislative requirement for the P&C Association, MUST be endorsed at the 2010 P&C AGM and a copy of the endorsed documentation provided to the Principal of the school.
